Error on reading record

I have a template which has previously caused no problems. I now want to change a column which is empty except for some formatting. If I make any change or insert columns at that point, XLSReadWriteII fails to read the file with the error:

Error on reading record ...
Error on reading shape #6
Excpected record missing: TXO

Using version 2.02.34

I got it to work by stripping out elements in the template. An unused draw object (Open Office term) was hiding in a worksheet. When this was removed, there was another error which I avoided by removing some comments in a few cells. These had never caused problems before.

I am considering a move to the latest version.
